Our Story

Best Diamond Plastics LLC (BDPL) is a Black-owned manufacturing company that provides high-quality plastic products, manufactured in the United States of America.

Bob Beavers and Mark Tolliver formed BDPL in 2007 when they purchased their first straw manufacturing machine. BDPL has continued growing since, with over 13 manufacturing lines currently operating at our facility on the south side of Chicago. We’ve also partnered with a variety of groups and organizations, including local job fairs and providing PPE donations to the University of Chicago during the onset of the COVID 19 crisis.  ​

Today, BDPL supplies straws and stirrers to over 10 restaurant chains nationwide. Additionally, we are always seeking to expand, internationally, with neighbors in North America and beyond.
