Best Diamond Plastics LLC (BDPL) is a proudly Black-owned manufacturing company, delivering high-quality plastic products crafted in the heart of the United States.
Founded in 2007 by Bob Beavers and Mark Tolliver, BDPL began with a single straw manufacturing machine. Since then, we’ve grown into a thriving operation with over 16 production lines at our facility on Chicago's South Side. Beyond manufacturing, we actively engage with our community through partnerships, local job fairs, and charitable contributions—most notably providing PPE donations to the University of Chicago during the COVID-19 crisis. Today, BDPL serves over 10 leading restaurant chains across the country, offering a diverse range of straws, cutlery and stirrers. As we continue to grow, we are also expanding our reach internationally, building meaningful partnerships throughout North America and beyond.
